Selection guide
What to know before you specify.
An external-rotor axial fan integrates the motor into the impeller hub, saving space and improving cooling. Select by diameter, airflow (m³/h) at the required static pressure, voltage and direction of airflow (suction or blowing).
Common applications
- Air cooling systems
- Condenser cooling
- Industrial ventilation
- Cooling towers
- Exhaust & condenser cooling
- Sizes
- 200 to 900 mm, 4-, 6- and 8-pole
- Supply
- 220 V single phase or 380 V three phase, 50/60 Hz; EC options
- Blades
- Steel, aluminium, stainless or plastic
- Protection
- Typically IP54, Class B/F insulation, ball bearings
Suction or blowing airflow?
Evaporators usually draw air through the coil (suction), while many condensers blow air through it. Specify the airflow direction when ordering — it determines the guard side and blade orientation.
Can you match a fan from another brand?
Usually yes. Send diameter, voltage, power, rpm and mounting dimensions or a nameplate photo.
What is the warranty?
Fans are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, as listed on each product page.
